STRIDE is a mobile sports community app designed to help users discover and connect with like-minded fitness enthusiasts based on shared interests, location, and availability. The concept addresses challenges faced by users who relocate frequently and struggle to maintain an active lifestyle due to a lack of community.
This project not only focuses on human-centred UX design but also integrates AI-assisted workflows and Agentic Experience principles, where the system actively supports users by anticipating needs, suggesting actions, and reducing decision fatigue.
Finding a partner or group to pursue fitness activities becomes difficult when users move to a new location. Existing apps either focus on fitness tracking or generic social meetups, but rarely combine location-based discovery, safety, and hobby-specific matching in a seamless experience.
